There is one more tragic result of the MAGA wing of the GOP failing to support U.S. aid to Ukraine. It is a gross disrespect for the sacrifices of the veterans of WWII. Those who served (including an uncle of mine) fought to make the world safe from invasion and war, and largely succeeded. To turn our backs on Russian aggression while waving the flag and claiming to be patriots is an offense to logic and honor.
