McGillivray Boulevard project worries east Vancouver residents

They fear it won't address speeding, safety for pedestrians, cyclists

While the city of Vancouver gets ready to choose a final design for a repaved McGillivray Boulevard in east Vancouver, some residents remain concerned that the changes will increase traffic and do little to improve the safety of pedestrians or cyclists.

The project will repave McGillivray Boulevard between Southeast Seventh Street and Southeast 164th Avenue.
