Letter: No morals at all on the left

I agree with one part of Ms. Edmonson’s letter: that both sides are not the same (“Both sides are not the same,” Our Readers’ Views, Oct. 11). She says Ilhan Omar strongly supports our democracy yet Omar asks for prayers for Palestinians. Israel is the U.S. ally. Re: Trump, he supports our allies. He supports America. He is not a politician. Three positives right there, which is more than I can come up with for anyone on the left.

If the left put in as much time, energy and money to better this nation as they have on getting rid of Trump we might have seen some progress. When one says the “entire” Republican Party does a thing one has lost credibility. Progressivism has gotten good people fired for not participating in delusions such as calling a female male, etc. Does truth ever play a role in the progressive party?

Progressivism has put American enemies in public office. Progressives voted God out of their platform three times. No morals at all. I’ve been to protests. If Trump fans were as crazy and backward and hate-filled as she and the left claim, don’t you think they’d have been the ones burning cop cars and businesses and holding cities hostage?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
