One dead after motorcycle leaves SE Washougal River Road

A motorcyclist is dead after driving off of Southeast Washougal River Road early Saturday morning, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At around 2:10 a.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported the incident in the 2400 block of Southeast Washougal River Road north of Washougal. It was reported a single motorcycle had left the roadway.

First responders arrived on the scene to find the rider of the motorcycle dead. The rider has not been identified.

The road was closed for several hours Saturday as an investigation took place.
