Two childhood friends from Vancouver dreamed of growing up to make horror movies together. Now they’re doing just that — and attracting national attention.

Calvin McCarthy and Josh Dietrich were 11-year-old neighbors when they founded 7th Street Productions, a nod to the road in east Vancouver where they first bumped into each other chasing an ice cream truck.
