Non-league football: West Seattle 24, Columbia River 19

Ethan Long had a touchdown run and touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, but Columbia River’s late rally fell short in a 24-19 loss at West Seattle on Friday.

West Seattle built a 17-0 lead in the second quarter before Ha’aheo Delarose caught 18-yard touchdown pass from Brayden Schiefer.

West Seattle took a 24-7 lead into the fourth quarter. Long scored on a 6-yard touchdown pass to make it 24-12, then Long completed a 25-yard touchdown pass to Tommy Blau.

Long rushed three times for 36 yards and was 2-of-2 passing for 55 yards.
