Lacamas Lake is going down. Literally.

Camas Public Works will drawdown Lacamas Lake at 8 a.m. on Monday, an annual action needed to inspect and repair dams. Water levels will lower about six feet, which officials say should take a few days.

Refilling the lake to its normal levels, a process that will last several weeks, is scheduled to begin Oct. 25.
