BATTLE GROUND – Prairie rallied late but couldn’t overcome a pair of third-quarter miscues in a 35-33 loss to Canadian team GW Graham in a non-league game on Friday night at District Stadium.

Falcons senior Pierson Lameh ran for 160 yards and scored four touchdowns, including two in the final three minutes that nearly erased a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit.

Graham, from Chilliwack, British Columbia,  built its lead in the third quarter, intercepting Prairie on back-to-back possessions, bookended by touchdown runs from Grizzlies senior Maleky Colgui, who finished with 144 yards rushing in the win.

Graham QB Aiden Hewitt finished with 243 yards passing and receiver Carter Dallas had 10 catches for 169 yards.

Braeden Slamp had 59 yards passing and 43 yards receiving for the Falcons (0-2), who have now lost each of their first two games by just two points.
