Prep highlights: Parker Mairs scores a pair for Camas soccer

Parker Mairs scored two second-half goals as the Camas girls soccer team earned a 2-2 draw on the road against Olympia on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, both teams came alive on offense in a clash of squads that reached the Class 4A state playoffs last year.

Stars of the day

  • Shaela Bradley, La Center girls soccer, scored two goals in a 5-0 win over The Bush School as the Wildcats improved to 3-0.
  • Maddie Thorsen, Prairie girls soccer, scored four goals in a 8-0 win over Capital.
  • Kendall Mairs, Camas volleyball, had 13 kills, 14 digs and three blocks as the Papermakers swept Olympia.
  • Marissa Loveall, Battle Ground girls soccer, scored a hat trick in the first half of a 4-0 win over Davis.
  • Paige Johnson, Columbia River girls soccer, scored two goals in a 3-2 win over Selah.
