Letter: Thanks for recycling event

By Linda Harvey, Vancouver
Published: September 16, 2023, 6:00am

I want to applaud Fred Meyer and the wonderful employees and other volunteers who put on a recycling event last Saturday at the Fred Meyer on 164th Avenue. It was extremely well run and very organized. The volunteers were all cheerful and friendly. There were even Blazers mascots there! I hope they do it every year, or better yet, twice a year — spring and fall. I really appreciate their efforts.

Let’s recycle all the junk from our garages so we can use them for our cars and keep them safer from being stolen.
