A 25-year-old Portland woman died early Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash on state Highway 14 in Vancouver, according to the Washington State Patrol.
A 2012 Toyota Highlander driven by Eden S. Ewings was traveling west at 4:56 a.m. before leaving the roadway and striking a pole near Milepost 4, police said in a press release.
Ewings was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene, according to police. The Toyota was totaled.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the vehicle crash.
