LONGVIEW — Firefighters extinguished a garage fire in the Olympic East neighborhood of Longview early Monday morning. No injuries were reported.
Longview Fire Department responded to a fire at around 2:01 a.m. in the 2710 block of Fir Street, just five minutes after receiving the initial 911 call, according to a department press release.
When crews arrived they report seeing a detached garage engulfed with flames, with the possibility of spreading to nearby residences.
A vehicle parked in front of the garage sustained minor damage, but no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
