Clark County Public Works will host an open house from 6-7 p.m. Feb. 29 on the Highway 99 sidewalk project. At the open house, staff will share the draft concept during a presentation from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m.

Before and after the presentation, residents are invited to review and discuss the plan with staff.

Public Works will be installing a sidewalk along the east side of the highway from Northeast 102nd to 104th streets. The sidewalk will be extended to connect with the existing sidewalk to the south and missing segments added to improve pedestrian mobility.

Residents can attend in person or online. The in-person open house will be in the cafeteria of Sarah J. Anderson Elementary School, 2215 N.E. 104th St. Signage will direct attendees to enter through the doors to the left of the school’s main entrance. Light refreshments will be provided.

The presentation portion of the open house will be streamed online. To participate in the online portion via Webex, residents can register on the project webpage at http://clark.wa.gov/public-works/hwy-99-sidewalk to receive a one-click link via email to join the meeting. Registration is not required, and information for joining the meeting online will also be posted on the project webpage.

Meeting interpretation, additional translation and other accommodations can be requested by contacting Paul Morin, project manager, at paul.morin@clark.wa.gov or call 564-397-4394.
