The Clark County Elections office is seeking individuals interested in writing an opposing statement for the April special election voters’ guide.

Each election, the Clark County Auditor’s Office provides an online and printed voters’ guide with information about candidates and ballot measures. The April voters’ guide includes local ballot measures with supporting and opposing statements written by citizens.

The city of Camas has a proposition that is missing a committee to write an opposing statement. The proposition is to renew an emergency medical services property tax levy.

To review the complete text of the resolution, ballot language and other resolutions for the April special election ballot, go to clarkvotes.org and follow the link to April 23 special election information.

Any registered voter interested in writing an opposing statement is asked to contact Cathie Garber of Clark County Elections at 564-397-2345. The deadline is 4 p.m. Wednesday.
