BATTLE GROUND — Battle Ground Public Schools is hosting an informational hiring fair for prospective classroom assistants from 2 to 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at the district’s Center for Agriculture, Science and Environmental Education Building A, 11104 N.E. 149th St., Brush Prairie.

Better known as paraeducators, classroom assistants play a critical role in addressing student needs and supporting teachers and administrators.

The district said in a news release Wednesday that “successful candidates for classroom assistant positions” should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate’s degree and proof of passage of the ETS Paraeducator Assessment Test.

For more information on the event and other available positions, visit the district’s website at https://www.battlegroundps.org/hiring-event-classroom-assistants/.
