Tessa Gorman sworn in as newest U.S. attorney for Western Washington

She has worked for Western District office for 23 years

The newest U.S. attorney for Western Washington, Tessa Gorman, was sworn in Tuesday, capping her decadeslong career with the office.

U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland appointed Gorman. Chief U.S. District Judge David G. Estudillo administered her oath of office. She has worked for the Western District office for 23 years in a variety of roles, including as first assistant U.S.
