Clark County seeks volunteers for Community Action Advisory Board

Clark County is seeking volunteers to serve on the Community Action Advisory Board.

Positions include low-income representatives from District 3 and District 5, and a community representative from District 5.

Terms begin immediately and end Dec. 31, 2026. Incumbents have the opportunity for re-appointment to two additional three-year terms.

The board makes recommendations about local government funding for basic needs, self-sufficiency and housing programs. Members also advocate for services supporting low-income communities, families and persons at local, state and federal levels.
