A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Northwest 179th Street near the Clark County Fairgrounds on Saturday morning, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported.
A woman said that at about 7 a.m. Saturday, she was driving westbound around the 1700 block of Northwest 179th Street when she came upon a man sitting or lying in the roadway. The driver said she was unable to avoid the man, the sheriff’s office reported.
First responders arrived on the scene and found a deceased male on the side of the roadway. The driver remained on the scene and was cooperative with law enforcement.
