M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust gives $7.5 million to Washington nonprofits

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust published its fall 2023 grants report Thursday, announcing 94 grants to nonprofits across the Pacific Northwest totaling $21.9 million.

More than $7.5 million in grants were awarded to 34 nonprofits serving Washington. In Clark County, Alliance for Children Everywhere received $12,196 for its Vision and Call Internship. The program, established by the M.J. Murdock Trust in 2006, helps young adults ages 20 to 25 with ministry and work experience. It received another $182,000 for staffing.

Shared Hope International of Vancouver received $23,850 for its Vision and Call Internship program. The report and a full list of grantees can be found at murdocktrust.org.

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust is a private, nonprofit foundation that has given more than $1.4 billion to nonprofits serving the Pacific Northwest since 1975.
