Vancouver house fire displaces four people

A fire Sunday morning in a duplex at 2219 Simpson Ave. in Vancouver displaced four people, according to the Vancouver Fire Department.

Vancouver firefighters were sent to the fire at 7:26 a.m. The first firefighters arrived three minutes later. The fire was put out and the house was searched in fewer than 17 minutes, the fire department reported. No one was injured.

The Vancouver Fire Marshal was investigating the fire Sunday.

Clark County Fire District 6 also responded. In all, 27 firefighters went to the blaze, according to the fire department.
