WOODLAND — Clark County Public Works is temporarily closing Bratton Canyon Park in Woodland effective April 1.

The closure is to allow comprehensive assessment activities to be completed. The information from the assessment will be used to develop a long-range plan for the property.

The park, 39310 N.W. Ninth Ave., will reopen once the assessment is complete and the park is determined safe for public use.

The former campground property was transferred to the county from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources in 2011. Clark County has been operating the park as a day-use facility since the transfer.

More information about the park can be found at clark.wa.gov/public-works/bratton-canyon.
