Explore mystery of ‘Cult Killer’

A revenge thriller centered on a private detective tops the DVD releases for the week of March 19.

“Cult Killer”: A woman investigating the murder of her mentor enters into an unorthodox partnership with a serial killer, discovering a town’s dark secrets in the process. Featuring Alice Eve and Antonio Banderas.

“Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths”: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries original in which twins are forced to work together after inheriting a detective agency.

“The Runner”: Iranian director Amir Naderi’s 1984 drama about a homeless young orphan, inspired by his own childhood, joins the Criterion Collection on Blu-ray and DVD.

“Lynch/Oz”: This 2022 documentary, enjoying a release on Criterion’s Janus Contemporaries imprint, explores director David Lynch’s obsession with “The Wizard of Oz,” with filmmakers explaining not only the ways in which the 1939 film is a recurring motif in Lynch’s work, but also how all directors draw inspiration from texts and keep going back to them throughout their careers.

“Bob Marley: One Love”: Kingsley Ben-Adir stars in this biopic of the iconic reggae singer focusing on the years from 1976-78 as he writes “Exodus” and contends with political unrest in his native Jamaica.

“Reckless Summer”: French coming-of-age drama about a 15-year-old girl in a small town who is navigating teen hormones and her parents divorce.

“Trail of Justice”: Western in which two brothers became embroiled in a conflict between a frontier mayor and the neighboring Native Americans.
