A Battle Ground man was injured in a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning south of Brush Prairie.

Around 7:15 a.m., Tarl Sanders, 43, was driving a 2005 Harley Davidson FLSTNI southbound on state Highway 503 toward the intersection at Caples Road, didn’t stop for the red light and then lost control of the motorcycle, according to a Washington State Patrol crash memo.

Sanders was injured and taken to Peacehealth Southwest Medical Center.

According to the Washington State Patrol, drugs and alcohol weren’t involved in the crash, although speed was. Charges are pending.
