T.J Brumfield had 18 points and 18 rebounds as Hudson’s Bay won its first game of the season, ending a seven-game losing streak on the last day of the North Marion Tournament.

“We just shot better than we have been,” Bay coach Andy Meyer said. “We’ve been playing good defense, but have really struggled to make baskets.”

Meyer said a strong third quarter was the big difference for the Eagles.

O’Shea Jackson scored 12 of his 14 points from the tail end of the third quarter and into the fourth. Ane Sipaia added 16 points.

Bay made 11 of 13 free throws in the game.
