Girls basketball: Olivia Carroll scores 18 to lead Hudson’s Bay over Fort Vancouver 51-45

Freshman Olivia Carroll scored 18 points as the Hudson’s Bay girls basketball team locked up the No. 3 seed to the 2A district playoffs next week with a 51-45 win over rival Fort Vancouver on Friday.

Alana Stephens and Avi Desjarlais added 11 points each for Bay.

Trian Clark and Georgiana Kalamafon scored 11 each for Fort.

SETON CATHOLIC 63, STEVENSON 19 — Riley Seymer and Tiffany Sheldon scored 12 points each as Seton Catholic improved to 9-0 in the Trico League.

Alyssa Mancuso and Remy Jenniges added 10 points for the Cougars.

KING’S WAY CHRISTIAN 24, COLUMBIA-WHITE SALMON 19 — Hannan Erwin scored 18 of the 24 points scored by King’s Way Christian, which locked up the No. 2 seed to the 1A district playoffs.

The Knights will host a playoff game next week.

CASTLE ROCK 64, LA CENTER 35 — Laynee Logan scored 27 points and Kesley Poyner added 20 as Castle Rock wrapped up the No. 3 seed to the 1A district playoffs.

Jesse Tomberlin had nine points to lead La Center, which now must play a tiebreaker with Stevenson to determine the fourth and final berth to the district playoffs.

SKYVIEW 59, EVERGREEN 33 — Elan Estes scored 15 points on five 3-pointers and Cameron Watson added 12 points for the Storm.

Kimora Ross scored nine to lead Evergreen.

MARK MORRIS 47, R.A. LONG 26 — Reese Johnston scored 15 points and Kiki Makaiwi added 14 points as Mark Morris locked up the No. 4 seed to the 2A district tournament.
