Vancouver — The Southwest Washington Community Land Trust will hold a seminar Monday on its model for sustainable, affordable housing.
SWCLT is a nonprofit, community-based, democratically operated corporation that acquires and holds land for the benefit of the community. It creates affordability by combining community land ownership with private home ownership.
You can learn about the trust, its current and future projects, and how to get involved or even become a homeowner. The seminar is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Aurora Place Apartments, 8105 N.E. Fourth Plain Road.
