The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that happened Thursday night at a Salmon Creek AT&T store. An estimated $18,000 worth of wireless phones was taken.

The robbery occurred just before 9:25 p.m. at 910 N.E. Tenney Road near the Salmon Creek Fred Meyer, according to dispatch logs.

A man showed the clerk a knife, locked him in a back room and took some products from the store, said Scott Schanaker, sheriff’s office spokesman.

About $18,000 worth of high-end cellphones was stolen.

The suspect was described as being a white male in his mid- to late-20s with a stocky build and thick dark beard. He was wearing a dark baseball hat, hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
