Florida A&M manhandles NAIA Allen 109-59

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida A&M took a 50-27 halftime lead, then outdid itself in the second half as the Rattlers routed Allen University 109-59 Saturday.

The Rattlers (4-6) had six players in double figures, only two of whom started: Jamari Bradshaw, with 14 points in 16 minutes of action, and Walter Davis (10 points). The bench was cleared early and often.

Michael Fabiyi led Florida A&M with 15 points. Muhammad Abdul-Aleem added 11, McWisdom Badejo 10. Trey Kellum recorded an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double. Florida A&M outscored Allen 59-32 in the second half.

The Rattlers hit 44 of 79 field goal attempts. Allen (2-10), a tiny NAIA school in South Carolina, was 21 for 64. Richard Johnson led the Yellow Jackets with 22 points, including six treys. Jadia Johnson added 12.
