Coop du Jour visits 12 backyard coops

Hough — About 200 people took part in the third annual Coop du Jour Backyard Chicken Coop Tour on July 14 in West Vancouver. Participants visited 12 backyard coops, learned about keeping hens, explored vegetable/flower gardens and saw backyard bees. Community partners who sold tickets included Mint Tea, Neighbors Market and Vancouver Food Coop. Event funds raised will go to beneficiary partners, the Hough Foundation and the Ryan Woods’ family.
