Car club gives $40,000 to Hospice House

Woodland: Rose City Classics presented $40,000 to the Ray Hickey Hospice House, a program of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, on July 25. Most of the money was raised at the Woodland Planters Days Cruise In in June. Woodland — Rose City Classics, a Vancouver-Portland car club for 1955-57 Chevrolets, raised $40,000 at its annual charity drive, mostly from the Woodland Planters Days Festival and Cruise In on June 16. The check was presented to Ray Hickey Hospice House at Beaches’ Cruise In on July 25 at Portland International Raceway. In the past 12 years, RCC has donated more than $150,000 to local charities, mostly in Clark County. Learn more at http://www.rosecityclassic.com.
