Bennington — Jordan Kronstad and classmates had a sweet day at school Nov. 2. They got to eat fudge and sip root beer floats. The seventh-grader at Shahala Middle School helped his class win the “Love in a Bag” Leadership classroom challenge. The nonprofit organization collects school supplies and personal care items for students living in the foster care system. Four classes competed for honors during the month of October and brought in 355 items, but Jordan was the top collector with 120 items. The prize was a food party compliments of their teacher, Traci Johnson.
