Girls basketball: Centralia 75, Hockinson 67

Centralia came out hot in the first quarter, making three 3-pointers and bolting out to an 18-0 lead.

The Hawks battled their way back into the game, but too many fouls halted their comeback. Centralia made 31 of 45 free throws.

Katelyn McGuire led the Hawks (1-1) with 14 points, and Brooks Sparks and Elle Tilkin added 11.
