NEW YORK (AP) — Welcome Guest beat Ode to Sami by 2 3/4 lengths Friday in the $75,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
The gray 3-year-old trained by Chad Brown got her second win in seven starts. Javier Castellano was aboard for the mile in 1:37.
Welcome Guest paid $3.40, $2.40 and $2.10. Ode to Sami returned $3.10 and $2.30, while Score Boyera paid $3.80 to show.
