Jaquan Thomas rushed for 101 yards and Gaquan White caught five passes for 112 yards and a touchdown as the Trappers snapped a 23-game losing streak.

“This is the greatest feeling in the world,” said Thomas, a senior. “We’ve waited a long time to get that ‘W’ and we knew this was the week we had to get it. And it’s great.”

The Trappers dominated possession in the first half, taking a 14-0 lead in the second quarter on touchdown passes by Jordan Suell to William Doty and White.

But turnovers allowed Bay rally back to tie the game on Devon Casey’s 30-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

The Fort marched on a 98-yard, 13-play scoring drive that was capped by Suell’s one-yard touchdown run. Babacar Secka’s 21-yard field goal with 2:04 left in the game sealed the win.

Casey finished with 144 yards rushing for Bay.
