Vancouver’s School of Piano Technology for the Blind is bringing back playable art to the city’s public spaces for a second year. The Keys to the City project will be held Aug. 30 through Sept. 8. It will feature 10 pianos in local gathering spots throughout Vancouver that will be available for all to play.

This year’s event will also feature guest appearances by accomplished pianists. Barbara Roberts and Colleen Adent will help kick off festivities on Aug. 30 from 4 to 8 p.m. by playing “4 Hands” on the waterfront promenade near Beaches Restaurant and Bar, 1919 S.E. Columbia River Dr.

For piano locations, performances and photos, visit the School of Piano Technology for the Blind’s Facebook page.
