4-H club bunny club takes furry outing

Fircrest — Even the Country Critters 4-H Rabbit Club was able to learn a thing or two about their namesake lagomorphs during a visit this month to the VCA East Mill Plain Animal Hospital. The group learned all about rabbits from veterinarian Alayson Phelps when they toured the clinic March 2. They learned facts about rabbit teeth (they grow fast, which is why the animals are always chewing on wood) and even saw a demonstration of professional tooth trimming led by Phelps.
