A $250,000 grant from the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust will provide modern dental equipment for students in the dental hygiene program at Clark College.
The Firstenburg Family Dental Hygiene Education & Care Center is adding more chairs to the teaching clinic, adding paperless charting software and updating the digital radiography area. The grant enables the college to purchase instructional cameras, workstation computers, radiology computers, vacuum systems and more.
Based in Vancouver, the M. J. Murdock Trust was created by the will of the late Melvin “Jack” Murdock, co-founder of Tektronix Inc.
