Letter: Uncovering truths is duty of press

I may have come up with a way to, most of the time, decide how to vote. If Clark County Commissioner David Madore is for someone or something, I vote against that someone or something; if he is against someone or something, I vote for it.

And speaking of Madore, and also Commissioner Tom Mielke and Sen. Don Benton, Stephanie Turlay, in an Oct. 19 letter “Back off biased criticism,” wants Editor Lou Brancaccio to “back off your biased Madore/Mielke political vendetta.” I say keep it up. Keep holding their feet to the fires they create. Isn’t that what newspapers are supposed to do?
