A Frito-Lay tractor-trailer from Vancouver crashed on Interstate 84 near La Grande, Ore., on Sunday morning, according to Oregon State Police.

The westbound vehicle was pulling two loaded trailers near Milepost 275 when a strong wind gust forced the tractor-trailer onto the highway’s shoulder at about 11:15 a.m., police said. The driver, William Anderson, 53, swerved in an attempt to get back into his lane, but that caused the tractor-trailer to travel “back and forth across the highway until the second trailer tipped over,” according to an Oregon State Police news release.

Anderson was not injured or cited. Police are investigating the incident.

The right lane of the highway was closed for three hours, police said.
