Two-alarm apartment fire reported in Vancouver

Firefighters are on scene of a reported apartment fire in Vancouver’s Ogden neighborhood.

Crews were dispatched to the Van Plaza Apartments, 8011 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd., at 10:31 p.m. Arriving firefighters reported seeing fire coming from one side of an apartment building, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

Crews worked to extinguish the fire, gaining entry into an upper unit at the complex, according to radio traffic.

At 11 p.m., a second alarm was called to bring in more crews to help fight the fire, according to radio traffic.

An estimated four families were impacted by the blaze.

More information about the fire was not available Sunday night.
