Vancouver police officers arrested a woman Wednesday who they say brandished a hammer when she tried to snatch someone’s purse.
Vancouver Police Department Sgt. Mike Davis said a woman was in the area of 1200 E. 33rd St. at about 5:20 p.m. when another woman attempted to rob her.
No one was hurt, Davis said, and officers arrested 20-year-old Megan Koethe on suspicion of first-degree robbery.
Davis said the women did not know each other.
