Girls basketball: Woodland 51, Hockinson 35

Jessica Flanagan hit a 3-pointer early in the fourth quarter to spark a strong finish for the host Beavers. Woodland outscored Hockinson 19-7 in the fourth quarter after the Hawks pulled within two points late in the third period.

Flanagan and McKenna Mulder each scored 15 points for Woodland (7-5, 5-1 2A GSHL). Flanagan also had nine rebounds, seven assists and six steals. Mulder had nine rebounds.

Kendall Grell scored all seven of her points in the fourth quarter for the Beavers. Grell and Mulder each made all four of their free throws in the fourth quarter.

Sidra Malik made six steals and grabbed five rebounds for Woodland.

Hockinson (7-4, 3-3) had eight player score, led by eight points from Sydnie Cole-Volger. The Hawks cut a 12-point halftime deficit to two points in the third quarter.
