An 85-year-old man who police say may have memory problems was reported missing early Wednesday afternoon in Vancouver.

The man, Duane Varner, was last seen on foot in the city’s Uptown Village area, according to the Vancouver Police Department. He was described by police as 5-foot-10, about 140 pounds, with white hair and blue eyes. When he disappeared, he was wearing a green L.L. Bean jacket, tan pants and possibly a baseball hat with a Navy logo on it, police said.

He doesn’t have a known vehicle, police added.

Anyone with information about Varner’s whereabouts is asked to call 911.
