Columbia River at Bonneville

Tuesday — 8 adult spring chinook, 88 steelhead. Note: Counts in March are done by videotape, resulting in a delay of a few days in the availability of the numbers. Also, Columbia is muddy downstream of the mouth of the Cowlitz River.

Year to date — 293 adult spring chinook, 2,377 steelhead. Ten-year average through March 17 is 37 adult spring chinook and 1,423 steelhead. Water temperature is 45.5 degrees. Streamflow is 200,000 cubic feet per second. Water clarity at the dam is slightly less than 4 feet

Willamette River at Willamette Falls

Tuesday — 0 adult spring chinook, 73 steelhead. Year-to-date count is 29 adult spring chinook, 2,984 steelhead. Water visibility on Thursday at the Morrison Bridge in Portland was slightly less than 2 feet.
