‘RoC the Vote’ candidate forum slated

Vancouver — H-RoC will host a “RoC the Vote” community forum, allowing voters to meet the nonpartisan female candidates endorsed by H-Roc.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 at the Grant House, 1101 Officers Row. Tickets are $10 per person.

H-RoC has endorsed Anne McEnerny-Ogle for Vancouver mayor, Molly Coston for Washougal mayor, Alishia Topper and Linda Glover for Vancouver City Council, Julie Bocanegra for Evergreen school board and Julie Rotz for Camas school board.

Martha Martin, who is running to keep her seat as an East County Fire & Rescue commissioner, also was endorsed by H-RoC but will not be able to attend the event.

There are complimentary appetizers, wine and no-host cocktails for attendees. Registration is required by emailing letstalk@h-roc.org. Payment will be taken at the door.
