Letter: Support Orange for port

By Stan Freidberg, VANCOUVER

Kris Greene, Carolyn Crain and Tesoro-Savage have taken local politics to a new low. Recently, I received a large card in the mail. On one side was a picture of a rotting orange; on the reverse, several almost illegible notes about an apartment lease– trashing Don Orange and his wife. This, despite a judge and the county auditor having certified Don Orange’s eligibility to run for port commissioner.

Don and Mary Orange deserve better. They are fine people. Don Orange has integrity, local knowledge and a vision for our community — all desirable traits for a port commissioner.
