VANCOUVER — High school-age members of local Boys & Girls clubs hope to make it to a national conference in Pittsburgh in March.

To help them raise the money for the trip, Beaches Restaurant is holding a breakfast fundraiser, 8 to 10 a.m. Jan. 24. Tickets are $10.

At the national “Keystone” conference, Boys & Girls Club members ages 14 through 18 socialize, develop skills, exchange ideas, work on community service projects and explore the Pittsburgh area — including schools, museums, a great zoo, and more.

Beaches is at 1919 S.E. Columbia River Drive. Call 360-699-1592 to make reservations. For more information on Boys & Girls clubs, call John Andersen at 360-567-1152.
