Bike rider killed in collision near Woodburn

WOODBURN, Ore. (AP) — Marion County sheriff’s officers say a bicyclist was killed in a collision near Woodburn.

The sheriff’s office says the bike collided with a pickup truck at an intersection Thursday evening, and the rider died at the scene after receiving medical aid. The victim was identified as 52-year-old Robert Weaver of Salem.

Officers are investigating the collision, and no charges have been filed.
