6 Oregonians receiving Bronze Stars for WWII

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Congressman Peter DeFazio presents six Bronze Star medals to soldiers Monday at the federal Courthouse in Eugene for their service in World War II.

Four of the medals are going to relatives of soldiers who have died.

The congressman’s office says the six veterans came from Albany, Coquille, Corvallis, Lebanon and Myrtle Point.
