Md.-Eastern Shore pulls away from Navy 89-81 in OT

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Hillary Haley had a double-double with 32 points and 10 rebounds to lead Maryland-Eastern Shore to an 89-81 win over Navy in overtime Saturday night.

With the score tied 69-69 at the end of regulation, the Hawks opened overtime with a 10-2 run and led 79-71 with 1:48 remaining after two free throws by Dishawn Bradshaw. Navy, which led by eight in the second half, could get no closer than four points the rest of the way.

Louis Bell added 16 points and Bradshaw had 15 for the Hawks (2-4), who snapped a streak of five straight losses to NCAA Division I teams dating back to last season.

The Hawks outrebounded Navy 54-32 and had 22 second-chance points.

Greg Brown scored 28 points for Navy (2-6), which lost for the fourth time in the past five games. O.J. Ovworo added 13 points, and Isaiah Roberts and J.J. Avila each had 12 for the Midshipmen.
